Pravara Rural Engineering College Loni started on 21“August 1983, is the premier of all the institutions under the technical education complex developed by the Pravara Rural Education Society. The Society was established in 1964 by the Late Padmashri Dr.Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, who was also the founder of the Pravara Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd, Pravaranagar. The Society has been registered under the Societies Registration Act 1960 and the Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950.

Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni has a well-maintained library.PREC Loni library is ready with massive numbers of titles and volumes of reference books, textbooks, and handbooks required for teaching-mastering activities. Besides technical books, there are good numbers of books on management, and literature. The institute has a full-fledged computerized library with a complete of 42285 books. The library subscribes to various national and international technical journals. The institute has implemented a book bank scheme, which allows students to borrow good textbooks for the term and encourages them to use additional reference books from the library.   In addition to the usual library services, such as DELNET membership, which allows students to evaluate 300 different libraries across the country. Students have access to three units of e-journals.

Laboratories

PREC Loni has well-equipped laboratories for students. Software labs, hardware labs, wind tunnel labs, precision survey labs, microprocessor labs, chemical processing labs, and other sophisticated laboratories have been completely equipped and are regularly upgraded on the campus.   The open-door policies adopted by the laboratories enable students to develop self-reliance under the supervised guidance of expert lecturers.

Admission

The institute offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. PREC Loni B.E admission is primarily based totally on candidates’ ratings withinside the front exam- MHT CET or JEE Main. Then, candidates who meet the required cutoff have to participate in MHT CET counseling for choice filling, choice locking, and seat allotment. For PREC Loni M.E admission, candidates have to appear for GATE. Further, candidates have to attend state-level counseling which takes place through Common Admission Process (CAP). Final admission is confirmed after verification of documents and PREC Loni admission fee payment.

PREC Loni B.E Admission Process

Meet the required eligibility criteria for B.E admission.

Appear and qualify for the entrance exam- MHT CET.

Preference is given to the candidates with a valid JEE Main score.

Then, the PREC Loni cutoff for B.E. admission is released.

Register for the state-level counseling process.
